2020 Minor Soccer
The Beaverlodge and Area Minor Soccer Association organizes outdoor soccer practice and games for the children of Beaverlodge, Hythe, Wembley, Valhalla, and the surrounding areas. Children from ages 3 to 16 participate during the spring soccer season from the end of April to the end of June.
Weather Policy: We play unless it is Storming Heavily or there is Lightening. However, U5 director may decide whether or not the age division will play.
In the event of a League decision to cancel a game due to weather, the decision will be made at 5:00 pm and notification will begin shortly after. Notice of cancellations will be posted on this website (www.beaverlodgesoccer.com) and on the Facebook page. Team Coaches may notify the players on their team by phone.

March 16 & 30 at the Beaverlodge Pool MPR room. 4 – 8pm

Where do they play?
All practice/games are in the Town of Beaverlodge at various School and Town fields.

When does the SOCCER SEASON begin and end?
Weather permitting, U7 to U15 soccer will start on May 8th, 2020. The U5 program will run from May 11th. Team Coaches will contact each family and give them further information. We will play each Monday and Wednesday excluding the Victoria Day holiday. The year-end wrap up event will be held on, June 27th, 2020.
What does it cost?
U5 fees are $60.00 and U7 to U15 are $80.00. The registration fee covers the costs of the league. These costs include North West Peace Soccer Insurance fees, tournament fees, a Team T-Shirt, a Team Photo, Participation Medals and our Year End BBQ.
Can I get help with my child’s registration fees?
Yes. KidSport is an organization whose mandate is to help make sports accessible to all children. We will have KidSport applications available at registration night
When will players receive their T-SHIRTS and SCHEDULES?
Players will be receiving their Season Schedule and Team Shirt on Team Photo Night (April 26 2019) from their Coach at the Beaverlodge Elementary School Gym. Coaches will be contacting each family to let them know their photo scheduled time to meet.
When will PHOTOS be taken?
Photos will be done by Keith Ramsey. Soccer Team Photo Night will take place at the Beaverlodge Elementary School on April 26th. Individual Photos will also be taken that night. A team photo is included in the registration fee. Additional photos can be purchased.
What EQUIPMENT do children need?
All children must wear shin guards, due to insurance policy rules and for safety. These should be worn under long soccer socks. Players must wear their Team T-Shirt to each game and appropriate lace-up Running shoes OR Soccer cleats. Additional dress should be weather appropriate.
How can I help?
We are always looking for New Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Board members, Event volunteers (ie. Year End Event). Please check the sign up sheets posted at registration night or call a member of the executive. This league would not happen without parents like you who volunteer their time. Please consider being one of those volunteers.
What are Parent’s Responsibilities?
Please ensure that your child arrives to the soccer games ready to play on time with the appropriate equipment including water bottles. Please help the soccer club by volunteering when requested. For the younger age levels, parents should stay and assist during practices. This is mandatory at the U5 age level: you must remain at the field for the duration of the practice/game. We encourage all parents, at all age levels to stay and enjoy the games – the kids really love it when you are there!
What if it is RAINING?
As a rule, the League plays unless it is Storming Heavily or there is Lightening. However, the U5 age division will be decided separately by U5 Division Coach Director.

When are the games?
Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00/6:30 – 7:00pm/8:00pm.
Children born in 2015/2016 will participate in the Soccer U5 program; their Season will begin on Monday, May 11, 2020 and they will play on Monday and Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:15pm.
U7 and up begin on May 4, 2020
Children born in 2013/2014 – Under 7 (U7) team play on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30pm.
Children born in 2011/2012 – Under 9 (U9) team play on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30pm.
Children born in 2009/2010 – Under 11 (U11) team play on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:15pm.
Children born in 2007/2008 – Under 13 (U13) team play on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:15 – 8:45pm.
Children born in 2005/2006 – Under 15 (U15) team play on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:15 – 8:45pm.
When and where is Soccer Registration?
Registration Night is March 16 and 30, 2020 4:00PM – 7:00pm at MPR room at the Beaverlodge Pool.
